The outdoor food court at the Costco we use recently switched the fountain to Coke products from Pepsi products. Almost immediately, a bunch of bees started hovering around the fountain area. It went unchecked for a couple of months, but they're gone now. My daughter, who lives on Diet Coke and will not drink Diet Pepsi, said, "See, even the bees like Coke better than Pepsi."

I went through a 30-year quest to find a diet cola that tastes reasonably like Real Coke, and in my experience:

1) Coke Zero
2) Diet Pepsi
3) Diet Rite
4) Diet Coke

Regular Coke is too sweet for me. Coke Zero is too sweet for me. OMG - You ARE BOTH part of the conspiracy!!!!!!

It pains me to say this, but I do agree with you. I pretty much quit drinking soda 5 or 6 years ago probably. But I do have one a week when I'm at my cat rescue where I volunteer. I've given up drinking out of plastic bottles as much as I can, so that means I have a soda when I'm finished because it's hot and humid as f*** all when I'm working. And I have a diet Coke. I would not drink a Coke zero. I can't stand it

I switched from Coke Zero to Dr Pepper Zero, and it turns out that was the sweetness I was missing.

Cherry Coke Zero works for me.

If you're going to go for fake sweetness and tons of don't-ask-questions chems, may as well go all the way!
