I threw this movie into the DVD player this afternoon in hopes of making it all the way through, and I'm having a tough time. While I was in college, my girlfriend and I fell asleep half-way through, so a lot of this seems new to me. Although, it just seems to drag on and on and on, and I don't find it all that funny.

Am I alone here?

Not necessarily. IJAG does not heart this movie.

I don't think she liked Napoleon Dynamite, either.

Both are probably, in their own ways, guys movies.

It definitely has its hilarious parts. I watch it fairly often, but I almost never finish it. Plot is not the reason to watch this movie.

One word for that movie:

OVERRATED! (clap clap clapclapclap) OVERRATED! (clap clap clapclapclap)

I do agree with that.

Like a lot of their work, an acquired taste.

I once sat a couple of dear friends down to watch Raising Arizona.

Stone silence.

That I don't get. I think it's the best of the Coen brothers' movies.

Say what you will about the tenets of national socialism, but at least it's an ethos.

Outside of Heathers, is there a movie worth a damn that you do like?
(I kid, I kid...remembering the O, Brother contretemps of a few weeks back...)
