Well, he did attend OSU, so his downside is much more significant than his upside. But that blown catch tonight just signifies how overrated this douche is.

DeAngelo Hall thinks Ted Gish is overpaid.

Not even close, despite the tough drop at the end. Rookies have a harder time at wide receiver than any other position, and Ginn went through that last year. He had a pretty good game tonight outside of that last play. I expect he'll get a little better as the year goes on, then next season will be the make-or-break for him.

EDIT: Meant to say "next season, the third season." My bad.

Ginn is looking like a bust, but he's not even close to being in the discussion for biggest bust of all time. What was he, the ninth overall pick?

Cade McNown. Troy Williamson. Blair Thomas.

All worse than Ted Ginn, who had 10 catches I might add.

Considering that I was pretty sure he was going to suck from Day One, I don't consider him a bust. He's just out there being Ted Ginn.

I spent all day leading up to the Dolphins number eight pick that year praying -- PRAYING!!!!! -- that they wouldn't take Brady Quinn, only to see them take Ted ****ing Ginn. Ginn was projected as a late first-rounder, and they took him eighth.

For the life of me, I've yet to figure out why.

Yeah they shoulda passed on him and taken Brady Quinn instead.

Edit: Being sarcastic, not replying to Crash, who posted as I typed this.

Jeez. Ginn should have caught it, but lets give the Colts defender a bit of credit here too.

And wag our finger at Pennington, whose noodle-armed throw allowed the defender to get in place for the play.

Honestly - I can't imagine that Ginn's even the biggest bust in the recent history of the Dolphins conisdering that is a team which had about five years or so of drafts being run by Dave Wannstedt.

This is one of the dumbest threads, with one dumbass starting post, this site has seen in a while. The ****er had 10 catches for 108 yards. That screams bust to me!

Morans.

And Ted Ginn is smart enough to not be married yet.

I was too lazy to look up his stats, but yeah, seconded.
