This thread is started so people will not think an active Woot Off is happening when the the other thread is bumped.

I'd never even heard of a Westinghouse TV till now. I'd have thought they went the way of Curtis Mathes.

$309 for a 26" HDTV isn't horrible considering Wal-Mart wants $598 for a Sanyo 30" that it's not even stocking right now.

I think Consumer Reports lists Westinghouse as a decent TV.

When the HD TVs are smaller, there really is not that much difference between them. It's when the picture gets really big when you start to see the differences.

Be sure you are ready to upgrade to an HD package or buy a set of rabbit ears for the local channels if you are lucky enough to get them over air.

the original plus "RUNNING WOOT THREAD" instead of "WOOT-OFF"

It's what it normally is. Doc just didn't update it after the last woot-off. But it's not like it was misleading...all it took was one second to go to woot, see there was no woot-off, etc.

www.woot.com

One item a day until it is sold. Every few months they do a "woot off" where they list item after item for a couple of days and people here get orgasmic.
