One of those weeks I have to go against my rules. Be wary of games involving new QBs, teams travelling across country, teams that seem suddenly hot and are getting buzz, against teams that being written off, divisional match-ups, counting on a team I don't have confidence in to beat a team that I know sucks. So I went with the Never Pick a Thursday night game and chose the Eagles. Broke two of the rules.

I do not love L.A. The Chargers and the Rams gave me strikes in consecutive weeks.

Between the byes and a lot of the match-ups being "even" Raiders-Titans? Niners-Bucs? Lions-Chiefs? A lot of oddities in the standings with regard to point differential. Bucs are 4-1 with a plus 3 scoring differential. Niners 4-1 with a plus 8. Steelers are 3-1 with a MINUS 2!
