Kids thse days will do anything just to get a cheap thrill. Somehow I've got to raise mine not to fall in line with the rest of the misguided morons roaming the earth . . . that responsibility falls solely on my shoulders.

I hope you're not implying it'll undeniably be your fault if things don't work out well. Things are seldom that cut and dried. There have always been social influences on kids' behavior -- both good and bad. I'm not a parent, but I hope you approach this with a presumption of success and that you achieve that success.
