Stupid and/or annoying statements in sports

I watched the Brewers-Mets game last night on T.V. last night. After J.J. Hardy's homer, SNY announcer Gary Cohen said, "A fastball out over the middle of the plate, just how he likes it."

I know Cohen's a very good announcer, but what batter doesn't like fastballs over the middle of the plate?

It got me thinking. What are the other statements, declarations and phrases that the esteemed SportsJournalists.commers think are stupid or annoying or ridiculous?
