Very sad.

Sad.

But, high school kids are murdered every day. Why is this news?

Yeah, it's Fox News, and their base are more likely to hop on the "See! Knives kill too!" but it's still aggravating that this is being reported nationally

I think **** wants people to come on here with the "guess we have to ban knives" so he has something to argue about today.

I had been told previously that we don't start enough threads about school stabbings here.

Seriously? A guy asks a girl to prom, she says no, and he stabs her to death in school... and you're wondering why it's news?

See, this is why I didn't ask anyone to go to my prom. I would have had to kill her when she turned me down.

Another case of today's youth not being conditioned to manage rejection.
Ask a girl out, she declines and you execute her.
Our society is breaking down at the edges.

I'm asking why it's national news.

A student at the school and local media reports indicate that Sanchez was attacked because she refused to go to the prom with the attacker later in the evening.

He asked her to the prom the day of the prom?

Something makes me believe he didn't really think this through ...

This from the guy whose first response to a kid being murdered with a smart-ass comment about the source of the link.
