Look, I know, I know "change the channel."

GIVE ME A FREAKIN' BREAK. He's so bad. I can't quote all the **** that he's said, but figgity **** does this guy suck.

Why in ****'s name does ESPN have this ****ing dope**** covering the SuperBowl?

He's not funny. He's not intelligent. Wait, he's not funny..

WHY ?!? ****, WHY?!

I used to keep an eye out for Stu, but I'm no longer half-blinded by his craptastic shtick.

It's because ESPN panders to the low life forms. Those who have a brain cell realize he's a clown, but that's not who ESPN cares about....
The masses think he's funny. The masses spend money. ESPN loves money...
If a sponsor pulled out of advertising because they think he's a clown, it would change things... if Nielsen families (ARE YOU TWO PAYING ATTENTION) started watching ESPNand chaning the channel when he came on, it might help...

I think I've perfected tuning DJ Stewy out... Now, I just need to work on doing the same thing for Berman...

It's just hard to watch/listen to ESPN's SuperBowl coverage with that idiot spinning the discs. It's sad because I like listening to guys like Jaws, Mort and Mark Schlereth.

Kenny Mayne needs to be euthanized as well... I used to like him on SportsCenter, but these Mayne Event bits are ****ing horrendous...

Mizzou, I find The Mayne Event to be quite witty. I like Mayne but would probably get tired of his crap if he was on TV on a daily basis, too. Fortunately, his bit runs for 2 minutes once a week. DJ Stewy and the SuperBowl coverage.... ah god, that's been all week.

Did anyone else catch Stewart's comment yesterday when he was talking about Lovie Smith being in the stands with his team for a game (I wasn't paying attention, so I don't know which one, but I think it was the first-round playoff game) and he said, "That shows the connection between African-American coaches and their players."
What would the public outcry be if a white commentator said that about a white coach?

Mark Schlereth is a big fan of the National Football League even in retirement. Heck, he's got a job talking about it. When he played offensive line for the Denver Broncos, they were able to win the American Football Conference twice and become the champions of the National Football League twice. This type of insight places Mark ahead of other commentators, especially of sports like Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association and the National Hockey League — Mark cares for none of these.

Today, he'll watch the Super Bowl when the American Football Conference takes on the National Football Conference for the National Football League's honor of being Super Bowl Champions. Mark knows this is quite an accomplishment.

Dude... USE abbreviations... we know what you mean when you say N-F-L!

Threadjack of sorts.
Am inside my office working on my basketball poll, when Ms. Slappy asks me to come into the living room, where she's watching a replay of Friday's General Hospital.
"Who is the guy playing a reporter?" she asks...

It's Screamin' A Smith, shoving a tape recorder in a guy's face and asking questions very calmly..

The guy on TV pushed his hand out of the way and said "get outta here..." Art imitates life...

Stuart Scott is the best colorful host in the game.

Where do you think Rich Eisen learned his craft from?

you betta recognize.

It figures..

Not getting into the good/not good argument of Stewey. Don't like his schtick, never had anything but good interaction with him. Didn't much like "**** these guys," which is why he's basically ripped all the time on here. Can't argue that point.

But I must say: I turned on the TV today about 1 and the outfit he had on was nothing short of hideous. Someone in wardrobe needs to be fired and fired soon.
