I'm with you, in spirit. Unfortunately, THE court says they can so you've got no recourse except to keep your kid out of sports and (perhaps) out of school as well, if what I think is coming down the pike happens.

my place of work buys ink by the barrel and truckloads of paper. we also have one of those thingymajigs that applies the ink to the paper. i also decide what goes into my section.

i don't have to sit quietly back and take it, and i doubt if i do.

The state pays for the testing in New Jersey, out of the dues the schools pay to be part iof the NJSIAA and out of the gate receipts that the NJSIAA usually just pockets from the State football playoffs and basketball tournaments.

The dues were not increased and the admission charges for football playoff games were reduced by an act of the legislature after a newspaper expose (see 2005 APSE project reporting awards) of the personal perks, exorbitant pension plan ands bogus expense accounts given to NJSIAA execs, and other waste in the organization.

Not to get in the middle of this, but spnited, if an athlete's parents go to a state playoff game to watch their kid, then part of the gate receipt generated from their ticket goes to pay for steroid testing.
So, in a sense, the parents are paying for the testing.

and who pays for the **** the state no longer is paying for since it doesn't have as much money? and if everybody starts UAing, how much higher are the dues going to rise? and who pays for that?
