To review the matchups, it looks as though the No. 1 seeds in each bracket should cruise to victory. There are some great 8-9 pairings, although there is a battle of the Cheerios at 3-14 in the Grandma's House Sectional.

The Sugar Fix Sectional shakes out as a "group of death" for the sugary cereals. Aside from the fact, of course, that **** will kill you. In that sectional, second- and third-round matchups could include Lucky Charms vs. Cocoa Krispies, Trix vs. Cookie Crisp and Honeycomb vs. Cap'n Crunch.

Also, Frankenberry, an upset special, earned a No. 10 seed in honor of Jones, who gave the board the phrase "Frankenberry ****."

Cereal Correspondent adds: Our methodology was as complete as we could get it. Tried to keep the No. 1 seeds close to "home" -- Corn Flakes, the overall top seed, is in the Battle Creek regional and Cheerios didn't have to travel far, to Golden Valley. Lucky Charms gets the Sugar Fix top seed, in Peterborough, while Frosted Flakes gets the Midnight Snack top seed, in La Jolla.

The play-in game features breakfast staple Cream of Wheat vs. the various Character Creations that permeate the cereal aisle -- <a href="http://www.dangproductions.net/images/cereal1.jpg">Gremlins cereal</a>, <a href="http://www.marketingblurb.com/uploads/Kelloggs%20Shrek%20Cereal-thumb.jpg">Shrek cereal</a>, <a href="http://www.nesplayer.com/database/advert/tmntcereal.png">TMNT cereal</a>, etc. They're all the same, really (throw some creatively shaped oats and marshmallows together, and voila!)
