I need suggestions for an early-March trip ... someplace cheapish and fun and warm. But not Mexico, Jamaica, Bahamas or Hawaii. hmmm

You can go get us a beer, newb, while we all discuss the many ways in which this thread will not end well.

But where in Florida? Been to Orlando and I'm not interested in going back.

Perhaps one of the many cliched spring break beach destinations. Ft. Lauderdale immediately springs to mind.

I just spent three days in Key West. I had a place to stay for free, didn't buy more than five drinks the whole time, spent one entire day hungover and unable to go out and still spent $300.

I'm waiting for a floridaSportsJournalists.commer to invite our fresh young female to their abode.

Fort Myers/Naples is wonderful -- if you can afford it.

I should note: I'm not interested in starring in the next Girls Gone Wild and I'm not planning on bringing out my boobs in public. Mostly because my boobs are small.

If your Spring Break is when ours is, you should come to Austin. It's SXSW that week.

This is one of those times I wish I was using an anonymous name. Damn.

How 'bout get a jobby job? [/crankyBubbler]

(Sending this down the path of not ending well)

OK I'll be nice? Lake Havasu?

Never went anywhere on Spring Break. Not that I'm compensating by being an asshole or anything.

But otherwise you would. Just be to sure let us know where you finally decide to go. Someone will bring the booze.

Central Arkansas. Won't be a mob scene there, either.

Screw that. Party with Ponch in NW Arkansas. It's the fastest-growing area in the country!
