Bob Ryan hit's it out of the park

"They don't think about what they do" It's called being a sociopath. And that's what these thuggish, uneducated, malfunctioning millionaires are.

Meanwhile Ryan, of the educated millionaire variety condones slapping other men's wives.

Shouldn't condoning the slapping of ANYONE set you off?

It seems in this PC, time of equality, the gender shouldn't matter so much.

How does OTL not deal with last night's brawl... do they tape the show midweek or something? You'd think they'd scrap whatever they had planned and do something with the brawl.

Once upon a time, when Ronald Reagan was in the White House and Don Johnson was a big star, watching sportswriters shoot the breeze on TV was a fascinating novelty, like MTV.
Now MTV is nowhere, and there's nowhere you can go to avoid watching sportswriters scream the breeze on Tv. There's literally hours of that programming every day. So who needs it, especially at 10 am Sunday?
Here's an idea. How about a show with beat reporters instead of columnists? They could tell us stuff we don't know.
Naaah. Who wants that?

With each sitting behind mob-witness types of blue windowshades with voice modulators..... THAT would be tremendous.

There's still a place for smart and that happens only two places -- PTI and TSR. Not saying it's as good as it used to be, and certainly not as novel, but it's the sports equal to the Sunday morning news shows and should always have a place.
