Sage Steele, formerly of Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic (D.C., Md. and Virginia area) made her debut on the 6 p.m. SportsCenter tonight. Easy on the eyes and she does a solid job.

She had a notable on-air argument with Ravens coach Brian Billick.

Here is a Baltimore Sun story on her move:

That picture with the story is a little disappointing, I must say.

But with braces and contacts she might clean up all right.

****ing A. I clicked on the link hoping for a picture of the hottie and my eyes are assaulted by a picture of Ray Frager.

Ugh. I think I just vomited.

Re: SportsCenter anchor babe debut

You know, that can't be her real name. Sounds like a porn name :D

As long as she doesn't take away air time from Michelle Bonner.

Re: SportsCenter anchor babe debut

Not to disappoint anyone here, but that 'babe' is the mommy of three little kids, and no offense, but the 'babe' thing is just stoopid.

Re: SportsCenter anchor babe debut

My wife is the mom of four children. She's still a babe in my books.

But your sexism point still stands.

Re: SportsCenter anchor babe debut

Didn't know she was a Hoosier. Never met her but we crossed paths in Tampa press boxes a couple times. Heard she was good people.

Re: SportsCenter anchor babe debut

So, technically, would she be a MILF then? I could go either way.

Re: SportsCenter anchor babe debut

No, Ace. How many times does this have to be covered?

MILFs are only MILFs to the friends of the said mother's children.

To you, she's just a hot babe you'd like to ...

What do the first sentence have to do with the second?

No offense taken. My guess is that without the word babe, you wouldn\'t think it was dumb?

Babe status is not limited by marriage or having kids.

Career status is not limited by whether someone is a babe.

Or rather, it shouldn't be.

Would you have bothered to start a thread titled 'SportsCenter anchor debut?'

And you boys wonder why most of the women who work in sports have gigantic chips on their shoulders.

Sage is terrific people, and she's very good at her job. I know she flirted with going to ESPN before, but I'm glad she finally did. Glad to see her move on. She'll do well.

I dunno, I remember a whole lot of drooling over Anderson Cooper around these parts.
