We are looking for a sports reporter also capable of page design and pagination to work for one of two weekly papers. We're located in the Athens-Atlanta area and offer opportunities for advancement to larger papers within our group. The perfect applicant would have a passion for community journalism and small-town sports coverage, including preps and rec leagues. We need someone who can do-it-all: write, design pages (In-Design), schedule and plan coverage, shoot pictures if needed.
