The Portsmouth Daily Times seeks an energetic and knowledgeable writer to join our sports department. Must be familiar with all aspects of local, regional, and national sports, including the Southern Ohio Conference and its member teams, and be available to work evenings and weekends. Must also be available to work some mornings and daytime hours, and travel to away games throughout the state. The ideal candidate will have a degree in English or journalism, and/or experience working in a newsroom environment with daily deadlines.
