The Hays Daily News (Hays, Kan.) is seeking two energetic sports reporters to provide and coordinate coverage for local/area high school sports as well as Fort Hays State University, an NCAA Division II member of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. The successful candidates will be expected to work closely with the sports editor in determining coverage of approximately 35 area high schools, two local high schools, and FHSU. As well, the job requires knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop, as well as the ability to generate web content. Photography skills are a plus. The positions provide the opportunity to generate and produce content for a monthly niche magazine, Sports Ink.
