The Red Oak Express, a 3,500-circulation, weekly newspaper in western Iowa, 60 miles east of Omaha, is searching for a sports reporter who has the skills to become a sports editor and advance through the company. The ideal candidate will be able to write interesting and accurate sports stories and features. Ability to use a camera, create layouts, and knowledge of AP style is a must, and experience with InDesign is a plus. Most importantly, candidate must be dedicated to excellence and take pride in their work. The Red Oak Express is one of 50 newspapers owned nationwide by Landmark Community Newspapers Inc., which offers many advancement opportunities in the company.
