The Whitefish Pilot in Whitefish, Montana, seeks an energetic sports reporter with strong photography skills to continue our award-winning tradition. We are looking for an all- purpose journalist who is competent and experienced in community news, sports coverage, photography and page design. We use DTI to build pages in InDesign. Previous experience with either program is a plus, as is experience using Photoshop. The Whitefish Pilot, circulation 3,000, is part of the Flathead Publishing Group, which includes 7 weeklies and one daily in beautiful Northwest Montana. Whitefish is a growing community rich in arts, dining and shopping, and along with the Whitefish Mountain ski resort is one of the tourism magnets in our area. It is close to Glacier National Park and offers year-round recreational opportunities. A post-offer/pre-employment drug screening is required.
