Why?

The question is: Why would any sane individual sentence themselves to this life? Is covering high school football and little league baseball really all that awesome? Is there a hottie in town who isn't spoken for?

Sure, it's a cheaper place to live than where I am now and I suspect I could get this same apartment ($625 per month) for around $450 or less. Yeah, I can live without TV, the internet, eating out. Heck, I can be a prisoner if I need to be. The question is WHY?

Apparently, there was somebody who was interested in this job and announced yesterday on another Web site that he has taken the position.
Of course, that means there will be another job opening to bash away.

And because this sounds exactly like one of those gigs where anything less than 50 hours a week simply won't cut it, that's approximately $6.30 an hour. $6.30. an hour.

The paper only prints three days/week. I doubt it's a 50 hr/week thing.

All good points on both sides, but, being that I've been there (No...Not Bogalusa) and done that, I tend to side w/ MSG AND Mark 2010....Heck, I can be a prisoner if I need to be but why?
