Primary responsibility of the Sports Producer is to manage multiple channels of our Sports site, working under the Senior Sports Producer, posting to keep the site up to date while building it for the future.
Sports journalism training and experience are required, in addition to excellent editing and Web technical skills. The job requires a high level of independent initiative, along with excellent collaborative and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of the internet is required. Interest in and knowledge of Sports news is required. Excellent HTML and Web production experience is strongly preferred.
The schedule for the job is variable depending on seasons and team schedules and will involve night and weekend shifts.
