The Idaho Falls Post Register is looking for a sports editor. We need someone who has the organizational skills to plan and direct our local sports coverage as well as cover events. The Post Register is a proven training ground for journalists looking to build their skills. A recent alumnae, who won a 2017 Pulitzer Prize, said her time here made her a better reporter.
The paper is located in Idaho Falls along the Snake River in eastern Idaho. An abundance of outdoor activities are nearby, including world-class fishing, skiing, rafting, hiking and biking. Idaho Falls is within two hours of Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks, as well as Sun Valley and Jackson, Wyo.
The Post Register is a multimedia news organization with a 12,000-circulation six-day-a-week printed newspaper.
