I got yer llama right here!
So ... hypothetically, let's say the button on your friend's pants breaks off during your his work shift. You He can't get home to change, and you he doesn't have an extra pair of pants in your his car.

What do you suggest to your friend?

You could remind him ot always have a safety pin stashed somewhere.

MacGyver a paper clip into something that'll hold your his pants together. Poke a hole in the fabric where the button was, then slide part of the clip through it. Then hook the curved end of the clip into the buttonhole.

Or try duct tape.

I should've asked this question earlier.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.
Borrow a page out of the fundraisers' book and send out a mass e-mail for "Pants-free Wednesday. Donate $5 to cancer and you can flaunt the dress code and go without pants."

Then, put $5 in a jar on your his desk and throw your his pants over your shoulder.

Either that, or just wander around without your his pants and mutter, "#*&&$!! cutbacks!"

Where the hell is your his belt, anyway?

1) Safety pin
2) Paper Clip
3) Athletic tape ... at least it leaves less residue (quote function THAT, folks) than the duct tape MacGyver always carried around.

Stapler. No staple gun. Stapler.

And here I thought this was going to be a follow-up to this thread: http://www.sportsjournalists.com/forum/threads/56795/

Do you have a belt you can just tighten? Maybe untuck the shirt so that if there is any sag, your shirt covers it? Never stand up?

A similar suggestion to oggies.

creole and emrow can vouch for this story.

Former co-worker (and he was a systems op, so he was a little off to begin with) always claimed that the tight bastards that ran this ship were so cheap on the AC, that in his office he was going to take off his pants and drawers in a unified boycott to turn on the AC.

I've had this happen several times. Can you position the belt so that it covers the button? Usually works for me.

Untuck the shirt a little bit, so it's just baggy. I've had that problem plenty of times because I'm too cheap to buy new pants.
