Software question

So my wife needs to get InDesign CS5 for her computer for her new editing job. She knew that going in... but didn't know it lists for $699. Yikes.

So, anyone know of any way to get a legit version cheaper? The best I've found on a quick search is Buy.com at $477. I'm usually not in the market for this sort of thing, so I don't know if there's a better bet I'm missing. (And no, I don't think I want to go the torrent route.)

I would just get a non-legit version. Or you could always write it off as a tax deduction which wouldn't be as efficient.

Maybe nuy the $477 version and write it off.

You can get the academic version for less than $200, and the whole Creative Suite for not much more. As long as you or someone you know can prove eligibility for the academic version, of course.
