Off to a good start, with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin (no surprise) in a skit with Amy Poehler's Hillary. It's been some time since I've been so curious to watch an SNL. I just it doesn't disappoint.

sorry for d'bing the thread topic. i've deleted it.

my post: as i'd hoped, tina fey just hit a homer of an impression of sarah palin waaaay outta the park.

i'm sure the rest of the show will go down from here, but i heart me some tina. great job by her as sarah and amy pohler as a on-the-verge-of-hitting-her hillary clinton ;D ;D ;D.

This skit was funnier with Peyton Manning and Casino Royale.

Agreed. So far, I've like the Palin-Clinton intro and the Jasper family game show. Duds everywhere else, especially with the locker room skit.

Train wreck, although not quite at Nancy Kerrigan level.
The new featured player looks like Belushi's ******* offsspring.

Absolutely pathetic since the open.

I thought Hammond left the show after last season.

So far, the only things funny about Weekend Update were the eFarmony and the Cassel/Palin joke.

yeah ... how can you put a dude with zero actual personality on, well, a show that requires it? ugh.

I did like the Charles Barkley skit, so add that to the Palin/Clinton into and the Jaspers as things I liked about this episode. But that's it.
