I've got to admit, I'm worried this was intentional.

It's the biggest building in the area. Unless you had no control at all, you would do your best to avoid it.

MSNBC said seven. Taller than anything near it. (It's off of a highway, not downtown.) But it's wide as well. It would be a very big target if you wanted to cause some damage. And they appear to have smashed right into it.

TV said something about FBI building being next door.

Somebody also said something about the building being in the flight path for the nearby airport. So it would make some sense that if it were to hit a building, it would hit a big one.

They almost always get this wrong at first, but MSNBC says that a pilot who saw the plane thinks it was a Cherokee 140.

MSNBC's reporter thinks it must be a bigger plane because of the size of the fire.

IRS, CIA, & FBI have offices in the building.

This was intentional. They were aiming for the building.

Witness who seems to know about planes (paraphrase): the plane was really low and it was hauling. It sounded like the engines were at full blast.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but the odds of cruising at a low altitude & at top speed and flying directly into a building that houses the local offices of the IRS, FBI & CIA is too much to be an accident in my opinion.

We'll know soon enough when we find out who the pilot is.

MSNBC: FBI in different building in same complex.

Changes the story a little bit, but the pilot could have gotten the wrong building or been mistaken about which building the FBI is in.

Still not sure about the IRS & CIA.

What the hell does that mean. I didn't say when we learn his name or ethnicity. I said when we know who he is -- you know, like after an investigation & we learn what his motivation are.

One of the Austin stations is using the feed from a traffic camera that is pointed towards the building.

Don't know if it belongs to TxDOT or the Austin PD but those cameras usually run 24-7 so there should be video of the plane striking the building.
