I see all kinds of slang online, I even use some myself, but the one that bothers me the most, the one that really just gets under my skin for some reason is “neway.” I don’t know what it is about it, but that one just drives me nuts! Another villain is “&&.” It’s like some hyper two-year old who has to say “and” twice, because they are so excited, but it is used constantly by teens.

Those two make me want to scream.

Anyone have any slang terms that get to you like that or am I just anal?

Any term I don't know the meaning of that will take away from my street cred

If I hear "Inkin' the squid" one more time it's going to scramble my eggs.

One of the advantages to living in a cultural backwater is that although I miss out on a lot of the good things that are going on in culture, I also miss out on a lot of the stupid things that go on in culture. Until today, I didn't know that anyone ever said or wrote, "chillax."

As for LOL, I'm working to develop a keyboard that will explode when that is typed unless the user is holding down the control key.

Why the control key?

You're just anal (but don't let Boots know :D )

Slang is slang is slang, I guess. But one phrase that irks me is when people say, "know what I mean?" or start a sentence with, "I mean ... " Lots of sportscasters are doing it these days, and I abhor it.
