Just a friendly reminder that the deadline for the All-SJ teams is midnight Friday the 14th.

E-mail your ballots to [email protected]

The criteria is on page one of the first thread.

So do our PM'd voted not count? Do we still need to email them? This is more confusing than a Florida butterfly ballot.

Which is probably on page three or four right now. Might be easier to repost it on this thread for people.

Just a suggestion.

Previously PM'd votes have been counted.

Just a suggestion.

And a darned good suggestion it is:

Since Freelance_Hack is MIA, I started wondering who will be overseeing the voting.

EDIT: Per Buckdub's and Doc's request...

Okay, since we're days away from 2007 reaching its conclusion, I guess it's time to learn which loosers are our award winners.

We'll have the following categories:

* SJ Post of The Year
* SJ Poster of The Year
* First Team All-SJ (pick five posters)
* SJ Rookie Of The Year
* All-Rookie Team
* SJ Troll Of The Year
* SJ Thread Of The Year
* Canuckistan Poster of the Year

Because I don't want you all to fill my in-box with votes, I'm going to set up another account where you can PM your votes. Please PM all ballots to SportsJournalists.com voting.

So I think for Post of the Year, people should submit their favorite, and then HB (if he ends up tallying the votes) should repost the five or 10 best and then people can vote in a poll. Otherwise, it's too hard to remember who posted what.

Certainly, I'd like to do that. However, there are some brilliant posts that have been eliminated due to threads being deleted. If there are people who have copies of those posts, please PM them to the other account.

For Post Of The Year, I'd appreciate a link to the thread and the poster's name (IE: on Spnited called BYH a dickhead on page seven of Running Baseball Thread 12,000,000,000).

We still have the Troll of the Year? I thought that was nixed.

I don't have a ****ing clue anymore. Sorry, HB. But none of this has made any sense from the get-go. I think I'll abstain.

You can mention people, threads or posts you like, but it's not a nomination. Just send your votes.

welcome to my last 33 years

We always had troll of the year.

I did not know that there was an all-SJ ladies' team last year.

I thought last year was the first year, and the thread lasted like 5 minutes before a moderator nuked it.

It was. From Freelance last year:

"Troll of the Year: A new award, this honors the idiot that did the best job of inciting rage in SportsJournalists.com members through their insipid posts"

You can vote for a troll of the year but do not name one on the board. I don't need more ****storms.
