Me: I own a three-bedroom house.

I guess technically I rent a house, though really I am just renting a room from a buddy.
I did own two houses by the time I was 26.

Paid off the wife's house about a week after we got married (Hi, Dave Ramsey!) thanks to a happy accident of real estate in another market. That's two smart things I did in a span of about a week, bookended by lots of stupid things.

That's mine, too. Tiny ass studio that's insane on a $/square foot level. I don't pay utils, at least, but still....
Not really many nice places in these thar parts, though. At least not with running water.
