And CBS has its nationwide Saturday matchup ready to go in Indiana-Kentucky ...

... unless Chattanooga screws it up! Sorry, IU alumni!

Judging from their profile, I wouldn't have put Tulsa in either. TWO losses to Memphis in recent weeks?

The current (and extended) ESPN segment with Calipari, then Boeheim, now Jay Wright -- with Greenberg interludes -- has been amusing and entertaining. Calipari is funny.

Only for college sports can a coach be suspended for 1/3 of the season for academic dishonesty and not be asked about it. But it have it treated as an obstacle, like an injury.

You know what would end this bull****? Relegation. Hey, BC, didn't win a game in the ACC, you're in America East next year. UCLA, say hello to the WAC. Then the Monmouths, etc. could move up to where the big kids play and see what they could do.

Sweet Monkey Jesus.
I just turned on ESPNU for the NIT selection show (don't judge me, I'm watching for work-related reasons) and there's a bracket selection show for an e-Sports competition. This **** has got to stop.

Kansas over Oklahoma

Michigan State over West Virginia

Sparty to cut 'em down. I really like Denzel Valentine.

I'm eagerly anticipating a Mitch Albom column about Brendan Dawson's presence at the Sparty selection show gathering.

LSU decided to skip the postseason rather than accept a potential NIT bid. Watching the selection show, the NIT selection committee chairman did not seem too happy about it.

Translation: Ben Simmons, through his agent, said "**** that, I ain't playin'."

Is there anything more cliche than teams cheering their seeding? Let's see a team that didn't make it get all Trump supporter on someone.

That's what I was saying earlier.

I'm fine if they show some low-major team, or a team on the bubble that may not necessarily have made it in. But don't show me a 1 seed or a 2 seed. Whoop de damn do.

So you're gonna dump the national all-sports leader in national championships into the WAC? Uh, no.

South Carolina, Monmouth and St Mary's have biggest gripes.
Frank Haith must have nude pics of someone on the committee.
Can't figure out why Kentucky is a 4......and AtM is a 3....
Oregon as a 1 surprises me.

Similarly, the indignation of teams that receive a No. 2 seed instead of a No. 1.
There is no difference whatsoever in this tournament between a 1 and a 2 seed. None. You still get a cupcake in the first round. You still usually play a decent major conference opponent in round two (and sometimes even luck up and get a mid-major who landed a lucky punch). If things work out and you take care of business, you end up at the exact same place as the No. 1 seed on the road to the Final Four.
The 1 vs. 2 argument is about as stupid as debating Pro Bowl snubs.
