Washington Post columnist Sally Jenkins took to Twitter (http://twitter.com/#!/sallyjenx) to express her displeasure with a post about a rift between her and Tony Kornheiser on Pro Football Talk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/05/18/kornheiser-could-be-facing-another-backlash/)

The line from PFT that has her riled?

"As one male member of the media explained it last night via e-mail, “I think the test is would Tony say that about you or me. Probably not. I’m guessing Sally feels the exact same way.” "

Jenkins tweeted the following this morning:

"Anyone wishing to attribute thoughts to me should probably call me first. It's called journalism."

"Paging PFT. Please pick up the courtesy phone. My phone still isn't ringing. Dead...total...silence. How bout this. Maybe I should call YOU."

It'll always be a women's record, not the real record.

UConn and UCLA are apples and oranges. You can't compare them.

They don't play the same game.

You name the excuse and it's certain to be attached to the Connecticut women's basketball team as it attempts to tie the 1971-74 UCLA men's team's record of 88 consecutive victories Sunday (2 p.m. ET, ESPNU) against Ohio State, then break the record Tuesday against Florida State.

So Sally Jenkins is telling Mike Florio that she would gladly talk to him about the situation, and he hasn't even tried to reach her?

Advice: Her email address is at the end of every column.

We all await our calls from Sally Jenkins about the UConn women's basketball winning streak.

I mean...Mizzou has been indirectly quoted a million times by other famous media types who you've definitely heard of. You think he gets all riled up about it? Hell no. He rolls with the punches.

Uh, that column was written by Christine Brennan at USA Today, so yeah, we'd be sitting by our phone for an eternity awaiting a call from Sally.

I've been told not to name drop. You know who told me that? Dan Jenkins... :D

**** has some weird thing going this week of posting intentionally wrong stuff hoping someone corrects him. I guess he finds it amusing. For all our previous differences, I have never thought of him as a troll like that. Maybe he just switched meds.
