RIP Jessi Pierce

[BYH 2: Electric Boogaloo]

Just the most horrible news possible...Minnesota Wild writer/podcaster Jessi Pierce and her three children died in a house fire Friday night.



Just hours earlier, she was Tweeting pics of her kids at a local ice cream joint as it opened for the first time this season.



She and her kids are survived by her husband and their Dad. Beyond awful. Spare some thoughts for a family going thru the worst thing possible. RIP.

Not only was this such a sad, sad story, that pic of the ice cream shop that BYH2 shared is a complete kick to the gut. Less than 24 hours later, the entire family is wiped out. White Bear Lake is a very nice and super family-friendly small town. This one is going to hurt for a long time both in the Twin Cities and in the sport. RIP Jessi.
