Mrs. Doubtfire, er, Bill Parcells, er   oh yeah, Montgomery birdie on 17..1-under playing 18th.
I'd root for Montie.

I'm a sucker for an underdog, but also, he has taken so much ****, and he has lost a ton of weight.... never easy.

Highlight of the day comes from the interview room, where Phil calls Lupica "Mitch" in response to a question.

Phil should go from even to 2-under for that.
And an additional two bounus strokes should go to any golfer who takes a driver to Berman's head.

Tiger starts bogey-bogey-bogey.

Anybody here who did NOT take Tiger somewhere in their Open pool, please raise your hand.

[raises hand]

Me too. I said on the first thread that I didn't think Tiger would finish in the top 10. To go from not playing competitively for 11 weeks and trying to tame Winged Foot is a real tough task, even for him. He doesn't hit a ton of fairways and that's a killer on this course. That said, he did have a nice sand save on 4.

The original question being, "What would Berman eat if left without food for three consecutive hours?"

John Kruk? :-\

THANK GOD IT IS 3:00 PM

A two-hour Berman break. (You're with me leather while I go get a ****ing haircut!!)

I am unsure what to respond, being that he hadn’t eaten since the previous commercial break and i know how irritable fat people get when they go around half-an-hour without food.

You aren't the only one interested.

Mariotti is here also. Can't wait for him to ask a question and Phil call him Woody.

After Phil's PC, he left the room and was walking around the media center with his entourage. Loopy was tagging along like someone's pesky little brother, trying to yuck it up. Phil was walking faster than he ever has in his life trying to shake the midget.

The USGA asked for Berman? God, that's weird. Maybe his best moment today was when Olazabal was lining up a putt and Berman says: "This, for birdie. His only bird of the day." Not more than 10 seconds later, one of the other guys in the booth says "This, for par. He missed the green to the left." ****ing moron! Maybe if he'd ****can the stupid nicknames he could actually follow the tournament. I promise that's my last rant. He ain't worth it.
