Figured we night as well move the talk out of the NCAA 10 thread.

Jake suggested a fantasy draft. That could be pretty fun, so long as, like he said, it's better than Madden's feature.

Here's who has the game, and the teams they want:

Hank - Detroit
Mad - Cleveland
Jake - White Sox
Storm - Mets
AZ - Colorado
AZ Bro 1 - Arizona
AZ bro 2 - Tampa Bay

Am I missing anyone?

Also, we should decide what difficulty we'd want to use. I'm up for Pro.

Anyone know if there is a roster update coming soon? I've read where 2K says its coming, but still nothing (as far as I know).

I'd hate to start a season with Ryan Raburn as my CF instead of Austin Jackson.

I automatically download rosters every day when I boot it up. I don't use them, but I assume if I did the MLB Today thing I would see them.

Edit: What do you guys think about number of games? And do we want to do a fantasy draft?

40 games might be a good number.

Are we all in the same league/division, so we play each other all the time? Or is it like NCAA where you'd have some CPU as well.

If it's playing each other, maybe try 20 games and see how quick we get through it, and then up it the second season.




And it'll definitely be a good thing that I can use Austin Jackson, as I'm sure Storm is glad about Ike Davis.

We're going to have some CPU games mixed in there as well, so 40ish is probably a good number to go with.

52 games is probably good. 20 might be too short of a season.

Given my lack of hitting proficiency I will probably need all nine innings to get a few hits.



Also, when you guys started a franchise, did you play all the spring training games or just sim them?

Hitting tips? Do you always use power swing or contact swing also?
