Running police misconduct thread

I really think the problems with law enforcement in our country deserve its own thread.

I also honestly believe 90-95% of police officers do a very good job and some entire police forces are fantastic, which starts at the top, but the inability to weed out horrific officers is what brings the profession down.

But if you scroll the most recent deaths caused by police, 90% of them were never recorded with a body cam.

We have two threads dealing with this already. Maybe the title of cops gone feral is a bit much, but the thread already exists. Splitting one discussion among too many threads gets messy. Leave that kind of mess to the other guys.
