I thought some of this stuff got lost on the Geek thread, so I'm starting this one. Feel free to let it fade to obscurity if y'all prefer the old Geek thread.

Two items today. One, Marvel has cast Jon Bernthal, who played Shane on The Walking Dead, as its new Punisher. He is expected to make his first appearance during Season 2 of Daredevil.

Comic book artist John Cassaday passes away at 52

I'm torn between respecting the passing of Cassaday and making a joke about TSP bringing back a thread that didn't get a single reply after I created it over nine years ago.

RIP Mr. Cassaday.

Rachel Brosnahan will definitely make a perfect Lois Lane. Love her. Not too sure about Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor though.....

It seems like there is some sort of law dictating that the movies can never get Lex Luthor right no matter how good of an actor they find for the role. It would help if they avoid making his motivation a convoluted real estate scheme with the potential for a massive death toll this time.
