And now the sideline reporter just pronounced decals 'deckles,' which I did not previously know was a thing despite being a long-time Canadophile. Mind. Blown.
I once got a long distance call from ijag checking on this after she saw a Bare Naked Ladies performance. It's been a running joke every since. :)

Stick a fork in Calgary. After the arm tackles that led to 3 defenders not bringing down that ball carrier it's apparent that it's not the Stamp's night.

I was looking that up after I posted ... knew there was some sort of move planned but was not aware that it had already taken place. I'm also aware of the Rogers Centre name change - just decided to go with the original out of youthful nostalgia and a general disdain for corporate tomfoolery.

I'm just surprised at this setup. Field not wide enough for teams to have their own sideline (I think). Looks like they got away with a grass field in the weather (though I'm guessing Toronto FC is thrilled that the West champion gets a three day head start for the MLS Cup), but it seems ironic that they're deliberately playing this outdoors when a bad outdoor Grey Cup in Toronto is a big reason why the dome exists in the first place.

You really think a three-day head start matters when the MLS Cup final is on Dec. 10?

If the NFC and AFC championship games were held three days apart, hours and hours of airtime on ESPN and Fox would be devoted to bitching about this.

Yeah, after seeing what I did of the first half, there's about a 0% chance I would have guessed the team that was laying 9 1/2 points in this one.

Calgary has scored 10 points on back-to-back possessions and is getting the ball back.

Last week, they argued because someone said the word 'fart' in Parliament.

And now...

Stop, drop, shut 'em down, open up shop
Oh, no
That's how (Redblacks) roll

Edit: I think they just said the winning touchdown was scored by Curtis Jackson, so perhaps you may be able to find him in the club.

Edit2: Ernest Jackson.

That was one helluva game, maybe one of the best Grey Cups. If this was hockey, it would have been a road hockey game. Last goal wins!

Late to the party, but BMO Field is built on the site of old Exhibition Stadium, old home of the Argos and the Blue Jays.
