It won't do much with his supporters. The wild card possibility of Democrat Doug Jones winning hangs on the possibility of enough non-crazy Republicans voting against Moore, and this sort of reporting might help there, but they would have to make the active decision to go out and vote for a Democratic candidate. Staying away from the polls does nothing.

It's a slim reed, though. I saw a comment on Facebook today to the effect of "As long as Jones supports abortion he has no chance", and that's probably accurate. We're probably in the "live boy or dead girl" zone still.

Staying away from the polls would help though. If Republican voters decide a no-vote against Moore is better than showing up, he's got a much better chance than the usual turnout just because of the numbers.
