Man, I was at the 1995 ACC Tournament when Dean Smith started yelling at Clemson player Iker Iturbe and Rick Barnes looked like he was going to fight the old man right there at center court. That was definitely an icy post-game media avail.

My admiration for Barnes went up a few notches. Smith was a legend but that was almost Woody Hayes-like. And it wasn't the first time that Dean called out players on other teams for "playing dirty" despite the obvious referee bias that the Tar Heels received on a nightly basis. Coach K wasn't pleased when Smith mouthed off about Danny Ferry.
