RIP Wes Huett

Editor at the Peoria Journal Star died today. He used to post here. Looks like he quit in 2018 (unless he started a new account). I kept up with him via Facebook.

Anyway … he was a good dude who leaves behind a wife and two children. RIP

Very sad. I don’t remember directly interacting with him but I drew him for Secret Santa (just checked the DMs) in 2011, back when we did that. I remember part of what I sent him - a George Mason tee. RIP Wes.

RIP Wes. As well as knowing him from here, I had a professional association with him for many years. Just as much of a mench professionally as he was here.

Know him mostly through here and we did become FB friends. Then he participated in a couple NCAA bracket pools I ran. Saw the news on FB today and was stunned. Not even 50 years old. Seemed like a good guy.
