Albini did "In Utero," and the band called in Scott Litt to smooth out parts they didn't like.

He recorded and produced Songs: Ohia's "Magnolia Electric Company" which is a hugely influential album in the alt country/Americana/outlaw country space where my head has been for the last decade or so.

Jason Molina, who was Songs: Ohia and later Magnolia Electric Company, is one of those artists I regret not seeing live before he died. But I discovered him too late.
