I’ve read that the Reds credited him completely for the Dodgers passing them in 1974. It put a spark in them for 1975. RIP

Marshall taught phys ed in public schools around MSU for couple semesters as part of his doctorate requirements. Supposedly he rarely if ever talked about baseball but would go on for hours on other sports, as well as his own quite unique physical conditioning theories.
