She'd been in a bad way for a while, hadn't she? Addiction issues? Mental issues? Both?

One of the first adult actresses I ever had a crush on. She looked eerily similar to a girl I went to high school with, and I think that crush became transferable. Always felt mesmerized by her smokey voice, and I think she made me long to pine after brunettes for most of my adult life.

Same, but Karen Allen.

This would be a great way to get wolves to start hunting other Livingston residents, btw, so I'm relieved this **** did not happen.

Um, there is very clearly a great movie to be spun from this called "Livingston." Jesus Christ, this is gold.

Kind of reminds me of the death of Gram Parsons and theft of his body, which should be an amazing movie. There's something called "Grand Theft Parsons" starring the guy from "Jackass," but the story deserves better.

She was great in those flicks. And she wasn’t afraid of talking about mental health issues. Took away some of the stigma and likely helped a lot of people.

Talk about suspending reality ... living in a penthouse apartment on a reporter's pay?

General Zod and Co. were just creating a new Ideation Room in the Daily Planet's Local Information Center when they tore up the newsroom looking for Superman.

I know people say this all the time, but I could have sworn she was already dead.

RIP, anyway.

And yes, she was bipolar.

The writer Rob Long once wrote that deaths like these should get their own type of headline, for people you thought died years ago.

"Up Until Last Sunday, Margot Kidder was Still Alive"
