Genuine words that opened the door just a little for me to see MJW just a bit. So sad.

Having seen so many sitcoms in 60’s& 70’s, The Cosby Show was so refreshing and enlightening. A highly educated, not poor, black family living in a mansion, not a housing project. And the life lessons? Were so relatable. I loved it. Unfortunately can’t watch anymore because I can’t unsee what I have read about Cosby’s actions.

What an absolutely awful way to go. Not that there are any good ones, but that's right up there with the worst. As noted here, he did a really good job of establishing himself as a solid working actor in an industry that usually turns child actors into sociopaths. RIP.

We go to Virginia every year to see family, and I don't go that deep. Two years ago, there was a guy drowned and this year, there was a beach rescue, like straight out of Baywatch. Do not mess with the ocean.

Couldn't stand Cosby's extreme condescending attitude on the show and never really warmed to it, but MJW and Bonet obviously had a lot of talent.

I look at The Cosby Show in the same way that I do Roseanne in that the namesake actors were the weakest links of the show, with Philicia Rashad, MJW, Bonet and the rest of the cast being stronger than Cosby and John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, etc. being stronger actors than Barr.
