RIP Kyle Busch

As the story notes, he apparently asked for medical attention after the race at Watkins Glen two weeks ago but won the Truck race at Dover less than a week ago.

Gotta imagine some undiagnosed heart condition or something along those lines? That’s the only thing that even begins to make sense.

Reading Gluck's story, sounds like he's been battling an illness for a few weeks.

Holy ****. When my oldest daughter was little, she loved Kyle Busch because he drove the M&Ms car and his secondary car was Pedigree dog food, which our beagle ate. So while most of the Nascar world was booing the hell out of him, she was usually happy.

If you are a racing family, you are kind of braced for the possibility of an early death. But that’s on track, not off. I can’t imagine how devastating this must be to them.

I truly can't recall if I ever interacted with him or not.
He was a jerk to his own crew as often as not.
I still respect his talent, and certainly wouldn't wish this on him.

RIP

Wild how different the sports are.

I cannot imagine in 2026 a baseball or football player complaining like this and not have a litany of specialists monitoring them.

He wanted to race the Indy 500, as his brother did, but never got the chance. I have a ton of respect of drivers from both disciplines who try to crossover and try something different. RIP.
