Former Yankees pitcher died at 81. Best known for pitching a 3-hit shutout in Game 7 of the 1956 World Series, the last Series game played in Brooklyn.

Something I never realized ... the last 3 games of that Series were complete-game shutouts.

Don Larsen pitched his perfect game in Game 5.

Clem Labine beat Bob Turley 1-0 in 10 innings in Game 6 (with Jackie Robinson driving in the only run).

Kucks beat the Dodgers 9-0 in the clincher, with Moose Skowron hitting a grand slam off Roger Craig in the first inning and Yogi Berra homering twice.
