Looking up his stats, he missed a total of 32 games in 16 seasons. In 1970-71, he played all,
But one game and averaged 45.4 minutes per game. The man never sat.

RIP

Bill Russell was set up to be the goat of Game 7 after he hit a guide wire with an inbounds pass, giving Philadelphia a chance for the winning shot with five seconds left.

There was no greater competitor ever, anywhere. ... RIP, Hondo.

Paul Brown drafted him as a wide receiver after his senior year at Ohio State. If Havlicek hadn't
t been picked by a guy even cheaper than Red, he might have taken a different path. Good for basketball he didn't.

I thought he went to camp with the Browns and got cut. That was the year the Browns drafted Gary Collins and there was no palce on a 40 man roster for a second, tall wide receiver.
