Ken Osmond, best known for his role as the troublemaker Eddie Haskell on the television comedy “Leave It to Beaver,” died on Monday morning. He was 76.

It wasn't so much Eddie Haskell that was funny with his insincerity, but how everyone around him - esp. June Cleaver knew he was full of **** and wasn't shy about mentioning it. Hell, I didn't know sarcasm existed in the '50s.

People once believed that heavy-metal icon Alice Cooper, under all that makeup, was Eddie Haskell from Leave It to Beaver. The legend became so ubiquitous that Alice Cooper started wearing a T-shirt that emphatically declared, "NO. I'M NOT EDDIE HASKELL."
