RIP Dave Semenko

Best remembered for riding shotgun on Gretzky's line on those 80's Oiler teams. Won a couple Cups before being traded to Hartford during the 86-87 season.

Died at 59 after a very short battle with liver and pancreatic cancer.

Wasn't he Gretzky's enforcer before Marty McSorley came along?

He was Gretzky's enforcer starting in their WHA days and into the NHL. Not nearly as remembered as McSorley and oddly didn't draw whole lot of penalty minutes during his career.
