RIP, Dale's kid brother. Did a lot behind the scenes for his dad, his brother and his nephew. And I'm not sure if his given name was Danny. Knowing people from Kannapolis, it probably was.

The only thing that could overshadow M. Waltrip winning Daytona was Earnhardt being killed. And that’s what happened.

Before Dale, Waltrip would try to make a move at the super speedways, but no one would go with him. The hooked up train would pass him because no one respected Ol’ DW’s little brother.
